Romford, who have picked up in recent weeks following several impressive performances walked away from Park Drive with a deserved three points.
The visitors went ahead early in the second half and then doubled their lead with twenty five minutes left on the Referee's clock. Oluwole Akinsanya scored his third goal in two games after seventy-nine minutes, however the Jammers failed to keep their recent unbeaten record in tact as Romford saw the game out to win by two goals to one. The defeat against Romford is Maldon's first defeat since the away defeat against Barking on Saturday 9 December.
