Maldon & Tiptree are now guaranteed to finish second in the league table, behind champions Brightlingsea Regent after today's last gasp win over Heybridge.

With one game left in the season, three out of the four play-off positions have been confirmed.

Haringey Borough are currently in fifth place, having played forty-five games, with seventy-eight points. Due to their superior goal difference, there is only one team who can realistically catch them, to claim the last play-off position. Bowers & Pitsea have played forty-four games and currently have seventy-two points.

If Bowers & Pitsea are to catch Haringey, they need to win both of their remaining fixtures and require Haringey to lose their last game at home against Norwich United. Haringey also have a better goal difference by three goals, so Bowers & Pitsea will need to overturn the deficit within their last two games.

With the above in mind, The Jammers will welcome either Haringey Borough or Bowers & Pitsea to Park Drive in the Ryman Division One North Semi-Final on Wednesday 26th April, with the game scheduled to kick off at 19:45.

The other semi-final will consist of Thurrock and AFC Hornchurch, however with their final league positions undecided, it is not clear who will have the home advantage until the last game of the season, next Saturday.

The two semi-final winners will play each other in the Ryman Division One North Play-Off Final on Sunday 30th April.
