Porter has joined Park Drive initially on a twenty-eight day loan from Chelmsford City of the Conference South. Max's arrival is a real coup for boss, Kevin Horlock after his signature was much sought after by several other Bostik North clubs.

Porter has featured for several clubs throughout his career including Newport County, AFC Wimbledon, Barnet & Southend United.

Max has also featured for the England National team at U23 level, appearing seven times and scored two goals - he even captained the side on four occasions.

Alongside his playing career, Porter is currently an Academy Coach at Arsenal, where he is responsible for the training, performance and development of the U9 age group.

His wealth of experience will be a huge asset to Horlock's side as The Jammers look to cement their place in and amongst the promotion places.

Porter's arrival is subject to the relevant paperwork being completed, however it is hoped that he will be available for tomorrows fixture against Grays Athletic.
