The under 11 Pumas look set to be without reliable defender Lewis Cowley until at least February after he pulled up in the pre-match warm up before the Pumas game against South Woodham Ferrers.

Cowley felt some discomfort in his upper leg whilst warming up and physio's have advised a couple of weeks off for the defender which leaves him out until early February.

Manager Chris Simmonds will have to reshuffle his pack as he prepares his team for life without Lewis in the coming weeks.
